Work Environment

The successful candidate will work primarily in an onsite outpatient clinic setting, where state-of-the-art facilities meet a welcoming atmosphere. Your work schedule will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and needs.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic techniques and manual therapy modalities in treatment sessions, ensuring each patient receives high-quality care.
• Manage a caseload effectively, dedicating ample time to each patient while ensuring timely and efficient treatment sequences.
• Implement evidence-based interventions focused on improving motion and mobility, minimizing the reliance on pharmacological treatments.
• Educate patients on exercise programs and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate closely with team members and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care through comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies in response to their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EMR software, such as Web PT, to uphold high standards in patient record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient clientele dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and age-related mobility challenges. Your approach will emphasize holistic patient care, fostering relationships that motivate and empower individuals to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess an active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated excellence in a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• History of maintaining a clean professional license without sanctions or board issues.
• Ability to effectively use EMR systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Familiarity with sports medicine and rehabilitation programs.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Relief Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
