Active Relief Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team based in Old Bridge, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by helping them restore mobility and function. Work Environment

Located in Old Bridge, New Jersey, our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility is designed for comfort and efficiency, creating an ideal atmosphere for both patients and staff. The clinic operates onsite, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members. The work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy treatment to patients, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives dedicated attention and quality care.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective treatment strategies, drawing on your previous experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Implement cost-effective evidence-based interventions that enhance motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on surgical options and medications.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, and modify them based on continuous patient feedback and progress.
• Design and lead fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements, fostering long-term health habits.
• Provide motivation, support, and education to patients throughout the healing process, encouraging their engagement and commitment to therapy.
• Continually assess and document treatment effects, making necessary modifications to ensure patient progress is closely monitored and documented in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, preferably Web PT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver holistic care that meets the diverse needs of our patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with an outpatient clientele, including athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. The role involves addressing a wide range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to preventive care, ensuring each treatment plan is specifically designed to optimize recovery and enhance daily functioning. Your ability to engage with patients and offer support will greatly influence their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unhindered Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings against your license.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and a proven ability to develop and implement successful exercise regimens.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• A thorough understanding of current physical therapy research and techniques to remain at the forefront of the field.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation is highly preferred. A strong background in sports medicine and effective patient communication skills will be a significant advantage in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on your experience.
