Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, where you will work directly with patients in their homes, allowing for a personalized and comfortable therapy experience. Our home care settings provide a unique opportunity to assess patients in their daily environments, which is crucial for developing effective treatment plans. You will operate during standard hours from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress, needs, and goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational resources to promote effective recovery.
• Collaborate intricately with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to coordinate and optimize care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the CureMD Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to track progress and adhere to compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily treat adult patients aged 40 to 65, who may be recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to improve functional mobility. Understanding this specific demographic is key to tailoring effective interventions and support, as you will work to empower each individual towards their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a focus on practical application and patient-centered care.
• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license valid in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and clinical expertise in evaluating and treating physical impairments.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience is required, background in an outpatient setting will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
