Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans based on individual evaluations, ensuring alignment with patients' capabilities and therapy goals.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring they understand and effectively carry out the established treatment protocols.
• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic testing, assessing muscle, joint function, and overall mobility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and training to patients, guiding them through activities designed to restore mobility and function.
• Evaluate patients' home environments to offer recommendations aimed at enhancing their independence and safety.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational and health regulations.
• Collaborate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team during case conferences to discuss treatment outcomes and strategies for client care.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions as necessary based on ongoing assessment of patient progress, communicating changes effectively with the care team and patients.
• Educate patients and their families on the use and care of therapeutic devices, ensuring clarity on the comprehensive physical therapy program.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of care plans by providing insights based on patient evaluations and team discussions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
