If you're a litigation attorney who wants to work directly alongside managing partners on sophisticated business and real estate disputes, this opportunity offers a clear partnership track, continuous mentorship, and a compensation package built to reward strong performance.

 

What's in it for you? You'll handle both plaintiff and defendant matters across business, real estate, and civil litigation, working closely with firm leadership rather than in a silo. The role offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility out of the El Segundo office, a base salary of $180,000–$260,000 DOE, annual bonuses up to $30,000, quarterly bonuses up to $12,500, and a 10% origination commission referral bonus on collected work, all built on a manageable annual billable requirement of 1,550 hours.

 

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of litigation experience handling both plaintiff and defendant matters
• Business and real estate litigation experience preferred; employment defense, complex litigation, or general civil litigation backgrounds also considered
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor under pressure

 

The Role

• Prepare and draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Conduct legal research and manage all phases of discovery
• Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings
• Support managing partners on litigation matters
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide client service

 

The position offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility out of the El Segundo, CA office, serving the Los Angeles/South Bay community. The annual billable-hours requirement is 1,550 hours, with tiered annual and quarterly bonuses increasing above that threshold.
