Position Summary

Alamar Biosciences is seeking an experienced and highly impactful Senior Recruiter to serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner during a period of significant organizational growth. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions, with a primary focus on supporting the expansion of the commercial organization while continuing to recruit for scientific, technical, operational, and corporate positions. The Senior Recruiter will operate at both a strategic and executional level, partnering closely with leaders to translate business priorities into workforce plans, talent strategies, and hiring outcomes. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable advising executives on talent market dynamics, designing scalable recruiting processes, and personally driving searches from intake through offer acceptance. This role is critical to Alamar's ability to attract exceptional talent, scale efficiently, and build the capabilities required to support the company's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Partnership

• Partner with executive and functional leaders to understand business objectives and translate workforce plans into actionable recruiting strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent availability, market conditions, organizational design, compensation positioning, and candidate assessment.
• Develop proactive talent acquisition plans aligned with annual hiring goals and organizational priorities.
• Anticipate future talent needs and build pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
• Influence hiring decisions through data, market intelligence, and recruiting best practices.
• Help leaders balance short-term hiring needs with long-term organizational capability building.

Commercial and Sales Expansion Recruiting

• Lead recruiting efforts supporting Alamar's expanding commercial organization, including sales leadership, field sales, sales operations, applications, customer success, and related commercial functions.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies for high-growth commercial teams across multiple geographies.
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future sales hiring needs.
• Partner closely with commercial leadership to support territory expansion and organizational scaling initiatives.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Manage the end-to-end recruiting process across commercial, scientific, operational, and corporate functions.
• Conduct intake meetings, develop sourcing strategies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate debriefs, and manage offer negotiations.
• Drive exceptional candidate experiences throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment lifecycle while maintaining hiring quality.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for hiring outcomes across assigned functions.

Talent Market Intelligence

• Maintain expertise on competitive talent markets, industry trends, compensation practices, and talent acquisition best practices.
• Provide leadership with relevant market insights to support hiring and workforce planning decisions.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and organizational hiring trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Process Excellence and Operational Execution

• Continuously improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and candidate quality.
• Partner with HR Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and transition of new hires.
• Utilize recruiting technologies and data to improve decision-making and process effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and recruiting standards.
• Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen Alamar's reputation as an employer of choice.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection practices.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Help create consistency and rigor in hiring decisions across the company.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including experience supporting multiple business functions.
• Demonstrated success recruiting for commercial, technical, scientific, and corporate positions.
• Experience supporting high-growth organizations and managing significant hiring volume.
• Strong consultative partnership skills with managers and business leaders.
• Ability to balance strategic workforce planning with day-to-day recruiting execution.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.

Preferred

• Experience recruiting within biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare technology, or related industries.
• Experience supporting commercial sales expansions and field-based organizations.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership teams.
• Familiarity with Workday Recruiting or similar enterprise recruiting systems.

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000. Our ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire ranges but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
