As a **Operations Supervisor** at Coastal Waste & Recycling, you'll lead the daily operations of our post-collection facilities while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient processing of materials.At Coastal, our Post Collections Operations Supervisors do more than oversee facilities—they develop people, strengthen operations, champion safety, and help protect the communities we serve.### **Your Role**As a Post Collections Operations Supervisor, you'll lead loader operators, equipment operators, spotters, technicians, and other operational employees while overseeing the daily execution of transfer stations, hauling operations, material recovery facilities (MRFs), landfills, and other post-collection operations. You'll own the staffing of your operation, coach and develop employees, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure materials are processed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and environmental regulations.**What You'll Do*** Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team while creating an engaged and accountable workplace.* Own the staffing of your operation by partnering with the Career Path team to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top talent.* Conduct daily crew-outs, crew-ins, facility inspections, and safety huddles to prepare employees for a safe and successful day.* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through coaching, observations, safety initiatives, and ongoing employee development.* Ensure incoming material is safely directed, properly distributed, and efficiently processed while maximizing throughput and operational performance.* Partner with technicians, Maintenance, Environmental, Safety, Engineering, and third-party vendors to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.* Ensure loader operators, equipment operators, and facility personnel operate safely while maintaining productivity and compliance with company standards.* Build positive working relationships with municipal representatives, environmental agencies, inspectors, customers, contractors, and third-party vendors visiting the facility.* Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally compliant operation while ensuring all permits, contracts, and regulatory requirements are followed.* Partner with fellow Operations Supervisors to share resources, solve operational challenges, and support company-wide success.* Coach employees through performance feedback, recognition, and ongoing development while preparing future operational leaders.* **At Coastal, we win as a team.** Our Operations Supervisors lead by example and do whatever is necessary to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations while delivering exceptional service to our customers and communities.**What You'll Bring*** Leadership experience in transportation, logistics, waste management, recycling, environmental services, construction, manufacturing, mining, aggregates, or another operational environment.* Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.* Strong communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.* Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.* Waste industry experience, CDL, bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole), and experience with Trux or Workday are a plus.**Why You'll Love Working Here*** Competitive Pay* Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits* 401(k) with Company Match* Paid Time Off & Holidays* Employee Referral Program* Career Growth & Leadership Development Opportunities* Collaborative Team Environment* Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on your team, your community, and the future of Coastal Waste & Recycling.If you're ready to lead with integrity, inspire others, and help build one of the fastest-growing environmental services companies in the Southeast, we'd love to have you join the Coastal team.**Coastal Waste & Recycling is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.** #J-18808-Ljbffr
