Our hospital is young and thriving. We offer an abundance of opportunities for professional growth, personal development and involvement in rewarding work. Our pharmacy operation is robust with a strong team. We fill an average of ~1000 scripts a day with the help of the team and technology, including a robot and counting devices. So far, we have a vaccine clinic, a warfarin clinic, and are adding new clinics. We are involved with patient outreach within the community by participating in events. In addition, we assist clinical teams throughout the hospital and beyond, including local schools and the Department of Health and Human Services. Our pharmacy staff give back to the profession through preceptorship of pharmacy interns, pharmacy technicians, and local high school students interested in Pharmacy or healthcare. Our pharmacists are fortunate to be able to provide healthcare to an underserved native population, work within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and have excellent benefits, including healthcare, subsidized housing, and multiple student loan repayment programs. Staff On Unit Pharmacist: 6-7 outpatient pharmacists Techs: 4 outpatient clerks, 4 outpatient technicians, 4 person billing team Type of equipment: ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System with SP200 Robot; RPMS Electronic Health Record and moving to a new EHR system Automated Medication dispensing system: Omnicell ADCs and Carousel, Kirby Lester counting machine Skill Set-Must Haves Non-negotiables each candidate must have to be considered. Include required certifications. Shoes – Closed toe Hair Color – Natural Nails – Short, no unnatural nails Tattoos – non-offensive Piercings not excessive, no facial piercing Other Essential Functions Directs, manages and supervises daily administrative operations to ensure highest quality service response and delivery consistent with established professional, regulatory and governmental standards Develops operational and financial outcome measures, related tracking and monitoring systems and a mechanism to integrate efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems. Directs, implements and evaluates development of departmental, functional and/or service related policies and procedures. Proactively assesses program, service and functional effectiveness; makes regular and consistent effort to develop and facilitate continuous process improvement. Develops and supervises staff through provision of timely feedback and use of appropriate Human Resource policies and tools to facilitate and ensure the ability of staff to achieve highest level of professional growth and desired performance standards. Plans, directs, implements and evaluates computer-based information and dispensing system to ensure ongoing efficiency and accuracy of data capture. Develops, manages and supervises purchasing and inventory management functions to ensure cost effective inventory management while providing timely availability to appropriate pharmaceuticals and related products. Facilitates the professional growth of staff by accurately assessing learning needs, styles and barriers to learning; coordinates learning opportunities. Prepares monthly progress/operational report; identifies areas of improvement, concern and recommended Participates in departmental orientation, on the job training and quality assurance programs/initiatives Participates in a variety of department and hospital educational programs to maintain current skill and competency levels; identifies and discusses performance or training needs with Supervisor. Performs other as requested. Minimum Qualifications Five years professional experience with two years of management experience Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred including 1 year residency Current and valid state Pharmacy license, required BLS certification within 30 days of hire Must be able to successfully pass and background and drug screen. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talented Medical Solutions
