Job Summary: As the Event Sales Manager, you will be at the heart of curating memorable events and fostering lasting relationships with clients. Your expertise in sales, event management, and client relations will help ensure the success of conferences, events, and group accommodations at our prestigious hotel. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for event planning and a commitment to delivering world-class service. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee conferences, events, and group room blocks to ensure a seamless, memorable experience for clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, securing group and catering business through exceptional service. Manage group room blocks, cutoffs, and attrition to optimize event success and hotel occupancy. Conduct planning meetings, site inspections, and pre/post-conference meetings, ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction. Organize and lead site visits for prospective clients, showcasing the venue and upselling hotel services. Develop and maintain detailed client profiles and trace systems, ensuring personalized service and maximizing revenue. Address client inquiries and needs promptly, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail. Represent the hotel with professionalism and integrity, maintaining a service-focused attitude in all interactions. Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure smooth event operations, fostering open communication for optimal results. Maintain a professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of the Hyatt Regency brand. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in social event planning, with 2 years of food and beverage experience preferred. Sales Expertise: Proficient in general sales techniques, including up-selling and executing marketing plans to optimize revenue. Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including business writing, with fluency in English. Organization: Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring all event logistics are managed efficiently. Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of computers and event management software. Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and meet clients both on and off the property as needed. Why Join Us?
