Overview Tax Manager Opportunity San Rafael, CA Area Oversee diverse tax and accounting engagements, managing complex projects with minimal supervision. Review work prepared by others, providing actionable feedback to ensure quality deliverables. Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to foster professional growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services. Conduct complex tax research and ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards. Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting, tax, or related field; valid CPA license required (EA not accepted). 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience. Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte/ProSystems FX) and Excel; strong tax law knowledge. Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; background check required. Base salary: $125K-$135K annually. Additional bonuses: $10K-$13K (FIP Program) and $8K-$10K (PMP Program), prorated first year. Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible hours, PTO, and more.
