What You'll Do As the Restaurant Manager, you will help oversee the daily operations of the restaurant while supporting a culture of teamwork, excellence, and hospitality. Responsibilities include: Leading day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on food quality, safety, timeliness, and member satisfaction Assisting with cooking, meal preparation, and service as needed Preparing fresh foods using standardized recipes, including scratch-made items Monitoring staffing schedules and adjusting staffing levels to support smooth operations Training, mentoring, and cross-training team members using established onboarding programs and organizational values Coaching staff to ensure accountability for cleaning, sanitation, and job responsibilities Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring compliance with Indiana State Board of Health standards Supporting inventory management and supply monitoring Attending food committee meetings and collaborating closely with leadership Creating a positive, team-focused environment that reflects LLV's mission and values What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about food service and hospitality A strong communicator and team leader Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Qualifications ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire) Certified Dietary Manager and/or Certified Food Protection certification preferred 34years of food service experience preferred 2 years of supervisory experience preferred Why You'll Love Working With Us At Lutheran Life Villages, we bring our core values of Leadership, Impact, Friendship, and Excellence (LIFE) into every part of our work.
