Assistant Director - Information Systems

Felician University is presently seeking a dynamic, detailed and service-oriented specialist to serve as the Assistant Director for the Office of Information Systems. Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the Assistant Director supports the Director in the administration and direction of the Office of Information Systems, including but not limited: to the management, implementation, planning, and development of new systems to address both current and emerging institutional needs. This position is on campus with a possible one-day remote work eligibility in accordance with University Policy. Required Education: BS in Information Systems/Technology required; master’s degree preferred. Qualifications: Superior and diverse organizational skills in the areas of project and process management, systems analysis and design, report writing, systems integration development, and maintenance. Comprehensive knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal Reports, Entrinsk Informer, MS Office, and other applications needed to create reports for end users. Experience in systems analysis and design. Knowledge of MS T-SQL and MS SQL Server. Extensive experience with Ellucian Colleague. Knowledge of and experience in scripting with PowerShell. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to establish collaborative relationships with broad constituency of individuals with and outside the university community. High degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail-orientation, ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress without direct supervision. Ability to exercise sound judgment in interacting with faculty, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders. Experience with document imaging system management, and a broad understanding of multi-dimensional databases and reporting preferred.
