Job Title: Logistics Operations SupportJob Category: LogisticsTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Employee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required:Type of Travel:* * *The Opportunity:As a Logistics Operations Support analyst, you will be a member of an Operations Team supporting CONUS and OCONUS Army systems. This vital role is dedicated to ensuring efficient and effective support for logistics operations. The position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including shipping and receiving tasks, tracking, asset management, metric capture, analysis, reporting, failure tracking, and configuration management of system baselines for both hardware and software. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of the U.S. Army Supply and Logistics Support Program and familiarity with Product Support Management (PSM) military standards and practices. This position will require occasional travel in support of our fielded systems to aide with hardware management and inventory.Responsibilities:Monitor and track all incoming and outgoing shipmentsPrepare equipment shipments, including inventory, palletizing, boxing, packaging, wrapping, and bandingEnsure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all shipmentsCoordinate with carriers and logistics providers to resolve any issues or delaysManage the lifecycle of assets from procurement to disposalMaintain accurate records of asset inventory, including location, condition, and usageConduct regular audits to ensure asset accuracy and compliance with company policiesAssist with all aspects of warehouse management, system integration, and inventoryServe as the point of contact for order status to requestors and supply-chain related queries to procurement and freight forwardersCollect and analyze logistics metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvementPrepare regular reports on logistics performance for management reviewUtilize data analytics tools to provide insights and recommendationsTrack and document failures or issues related to logistics operationsTrack and document root causes of failures and corrective actionsGenerate reports on failure trends and improvement initiativesInstall and perform on-site testing of system hardware componentsComplete or inspect build documentation for new system integrationsAssist with the development and publication of technical IPS life-cycle documentation, in accordance with U.S. Army policies and proceduresAssist with Production Acceptance Testing (PAT)CONUS &/or OCONUS Travel in support of system fielding and training events, hardware maintenance and inventory, as neededQualifications:Required:Active TS clearance required, SCI eligibleBachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of related work experience in logistics, supply, and/or maintenance operationsExperience with asset management and configuration managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and reporting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of logistics and supply chain management principlesProficiency with Database Management and Inventory OperationsFamiliarity with MS Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams)Expertise in preparing and receiving equipment shipments (e.g., inventory, labeling, palletizing, boxing/unboxing, packaging, wrapping, and banding)Ability to rack, wire, connect, install, and perform on-site testing of system hardware componentsOccasional lifting and/or moving of up to 70 poundsPhysical ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouchAbility to support CONUS/OCONUS site surveys, PMCS, inventories, and/or installations (potential for up to 40% travel)Desired:DOD and/or prior Military experienceExperience with the U.S. Army Supply and Logistics Support ProgramExperience and certification operating a forkliftExperience with Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow, or other ticketing systems-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
