Travel Nurse Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN) Setting: Adult medical telemetry unit Location: Philadelphia, PA 19107 Start Date: 10/05/2026 Assignment Length: 12 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950 - $2,060 Orientation: 12 hours Scheduling: Self-scheduling; block scheduling is not available Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend Floating: Required between two units based on staffing needs Charting System: Epic experience required Registered Nurse Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse license in good standing 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required Telemetry monitoring experience required BLS certification required Experience with Epic charting preferred/required BSN preferred, ASN accepted Ability to care for adult patients with complex medical needs Comfort with floating to partner units as needed Strong adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications and manage infusions according to clinical standards Care for patients with complex needs including respiratory support, substance withdrawal, and gastrointestinal or sepsis-related conditions Support patients requiring telemetry monitoring, oxygen therapy, and line/drain management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, coordinated care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge readiness Adapt to floating expectations and maintain excellent patient care across assigned units Why Consider This Philadelphia Travel Nursing Job?
