Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele Employment Type: Travel Contract Location: Center City Philadelphia, PA 19107 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Weekly Hours: 36 Contract Length: 12 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,060 Orientation: 12 hours Scheduling Notes: Every 3rd weekend required; no block scheduling; floating between units required Charting System: Epic Openings: 6 Patient Population: Adults Setting: 39-bed medical telemetry unit Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 12/28/2026 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required Telemetry monitoring experience required BLS certification required Epic charting experience required BSN preferred ; ASN accepted First-time travelers accepted Experience supporting a patient ratio of 4-5 preferred Must be comfortable with required floating and a flexible, team-based schedule RTO must be provided at the time of submission Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult telemetry patients Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythms and patient condition Care for patients with complex medical needs including respiratory, GI, sepsis, and withdrawal management Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, high-flow therapy, CPAP, and stable ventilator or tracheostomy care Manage drains, tubes, lines, enteral nutrition, and infusion therapies within med/tele standards of care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including respiratory therapy, PT, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams Educate patients and families to support safe transitions and ongoing care coordination Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards Float between assigned units as needed based on patient care demands Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity in Center City Philadelphia and advance your career as a Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele .
