Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and craft individualized treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of your clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate effective treatment.
• Document clinical records accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers to deliver integrated care solutions.
• Provide education to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies to empower them on their recovery journey.
• Stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and methodologies to enhance service delivery and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including adults experiencing various mental health disorders, trauma, and end-of-life issues associated with hospice care. Your approach will be tailored to respect the individual needs and cultural backgrounds of each patient, fostering trust and encouraging open communication. Your role will contribute significantly to improving the quality of life for patients and easing their mental health burdens.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• Strong foundation in solution-based psychotherapy techniques, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical social work setting, preferably in mental health or hospice.

Compensation and Benefits
