Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when stretched)
• Perform neurological and spinal assessments, including C-collar placement and TLSO brace management
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placement
• Administer blood transfusions and monitor patients for complications
• Operate unit equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, and patient lifts
• Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed; work every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required – candidates without these will not be considered)
• Neuro and trauma care experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in neuro and trauma care in a PCU or stepdown setting
• Experience with tracheostomy care and management
• Team-oriented, patient-focused approach to care delivery
