AccountantUnder the direction of the responsible administrator, assist in the administration, coordination and fiscal analysis of General Fund Unrestricted and Restricted budgets; participate in fiscal year budget preparation of total revenue and expenditures of the general fund; perform a variety of complex accounting analysis and reporting.Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and four years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience in accounting in a community college or related District-level school setting. Please note that government/public related accounting experience may be considered.Desired Qualification: Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other professional designation related to accounting.Salary and Benefits: Range 37, Steps 1-6, $5,801.00-$7,058.00. Initial placement for external applicants is Step 1.
