Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the liaison between DTMB and the project stakeholders.
• Provide expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for planned enhancements and technology updates on a public facing application used to communicate current availability of burn permits in Michigan counties.
• Serve as a critical member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team.
• Participate in various related work requests for DNR.
• Contribute to the operational activities of the BA team.
• Customer service and being a champion to ease Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices are key performance expectations for this person.
• Quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers.
• Help DNR navigate those constraints and enablers for the success of projects and work requests.
• Build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
• Quickly come up to speed on new assignments.
• Be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.

Required:

• Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling.
• Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions.
• Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.
• Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
• Bachelor's degree.
