Customer Service (Call Center) Manager

Job Overview Public Storage, the self‑storage industry leader, is hiring for the role of Property Manager. Compensation & Schedule $19.00 per hour Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 am and 6 pm (weekends until 5 pm) Benefits Eligible for full‑time benefits after an average of 20+ hours. Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability. Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits. Assist customers with payments, make reminder and collection calls when required. Work primarily outdoors; spend up to 50% of time walking/entering facilities, climbing stairs, opening large doors. Open and close facilities, assist reservation and walk‑in customers with renting storage spaces, resolve issues, complete lease agreements. Handle company assets/property and access customer accounts, including confidential information for break‑in and delinquent account cases. Accept, enter, and document all customer payments, ensuring accurate cash handling and deposits per company policy. Make scheduled delinquent calls, access customer personal information, execute lien sales, and administer transactions with auction vendors, including providing access to purchased space. Qualifications Valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel between properties and work tasks (mileage reimbursement available). Background in customer‑service‑centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies. Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and perform physical tasks outdoors.
