Director, Supply and Procurement

The Director, Sourcing &Procurement leads Cybastion's sourcing and supply chain execution across all projects and regions — defining strategy, governance, and operational oversight for complex, multi-country technology and infrastructure programs. Working closely with Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Legal, and PMOs, this role is the primary authority on procurement decisions and escalations across the organization. What this role is, and isn't. This is not a transactional procurement role. In eleven countries, procurement failures have real consequences for clients, partners, and reputation. The Director must be as prepared to build governance frameworks as to directly manage a high-stakes escalation. Not the right fit for anyone who hasn't built a procurement function from scratch. What you will build Lead the procurement function end-to-end: sourcing strategy, sourcing models, and operational oversight across all countries and projects Establish procurement policies, approval frameworks, and governance protocols — and hold the organization to them Serve as the functional authority for sourcing decisions at HQ, country, and project level Define and oversee strategic sourcing approaches, preferred supplier frameworks, and regional sourcing strategies in coordination with Strategic Partnerships Manage and develop HQ procurement staff, and provide functional oversight of regional procurement resources including dotted-line management Own procurement oversight for high-value and high-risk projects — guiding teams on strategy, contractual approach, and sequencing Coordinate across Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and PMOs to ensure end-to-end execution discipline Who we are looking for Non-negotiable cultural fit: Procurement is a critical execution driver here, not a back-office function: delays cost customer relationships and margins. The manager builds systems that hold up without them in the room and gains credibility through execution, not just executives. 10+ years of end-to-end procurement experience in complex, international, project-based environments — technology and infrastructure strongly preferred. Proven track record building or scaling a procurement function from scratch, with experience in matrix organizations and dotted-line management. Strong governance, supplier management, and stakeholder skills are non-negotiable. French is an important asset given our African operations. Experience in cybersecurity, or digital infrastructure procurement, US procurement frameworks (FAR/DFARS), and/or African market environments is a plus. A degree in supply chain, business, or finance is required; CPSM or CIPS certification is an asset. Equal Opportunity Statement
