Caregiver / PCA / DSP

Pay: $18–$21/hour based on experience + $3/hour Weekend Differential
Location: Hugo & Surrounding Communities

Comfort Keepers is hiring dependable In-Home Caregivers for multiple morning, daytime, and overnight shifts in Hugo. This is a great opportunity for caregivers who want consistent hours, flexibility, or a reliable overnight schedule.

Current Scheduling Needs

·       HIGH PRIORITY — Tuesday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM

·       HIGH PRIORITY — Thursday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM

·       HIGH PRIORITY — Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

·       HIGH PRIORITY — Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

·       HIGH PRIORITY — Friday: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Scheduling note: The Friday overnight coverage ends September 10, so this opening is time-sensitive.

What You'll Do

·       Provide companionship and emotional support

·       Assist with personal care

·       Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping

·       Provide medication reminders

·       Assist with mobility and daily activities

·       Support transportation and errands

·       Provide overnight companionship and supervision

·       Assist with mobility and safety

·       Support a safe and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

·       At least 18 years old

·       Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance

·       Compassionate, dependable, and professional

·       Comfortable working independently in a client's home

·       Comfortable working independently overnight

·       Caregiving experience is helpful but not required

Eligible direct-care employees may have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program. Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training that supports career advancement in home and community-based care. To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements. Scholarship funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational costs.
