In-Home Caregiver – Forest Lake Area

Pay: $18–$21/hour based on experience + $3/hour Weekend Differential

Current Scheduling Need

Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM–4:00 PM

This position offers consistent weekday hours and may be a great fit for someone looking for a part-time schedule. Additional shifts may be available for caregivers interested in working more hours.

What You'll Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll provide personalized, non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care

• Preparing meals

• Providing companionship and conversation

• Providing medication reminders

• Assisting with mobility and transfers

• Performing light housekeeping

• Providing transportation to appointments and errands

• Supporting clients with daily routines and activities

Our interactive caregiving approach focuses on actively involving clients in their everyday activities whenever possible, helping promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

No healthcare experience is required. Training is provided for qualified candidates.

We're looking for individuals who are:

• At least 18 years old

• Compassionate, dependable, and responsible

• Willing to learn and grow

• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Able to communicate effectively

• Equipped with a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSS, or other healthcare professional is a plus.

Education & Career Advancement

Caregiving can be a valuable first step toward a long-term career in healthcare. Whether you're interested in becoming a CNA, LPN, RN, social worker, or another healthcare professional , you'll gain hands-on experience while supporting clients in their homes.

Eligible direct-care employees may also have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program .

Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training , supporting career advancement in home and community-based care.

To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements. Scholarship funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational expenses.
