Role Description This full‑time Outside Sales Representative role is a hybrid position based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area, with a combination of in‑person customer visits and some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and developing new business, visiting job sites and customer locations, and presenting product solutions tailored to construction, remodeling, and home improvement needs. Daily activities include conducting sales presentations, preparing quotes, following up on leads, maintaining regular contact with existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to increase product penetration. The role also involves collaborating with internal store and operations teams to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and responsive customer support. The Outside keep accurate records of customer interactions, use basic sales tools or CRM systems, and represent the company professionally in the local market. Qualifications Strong customer‑facing skills, including Customer Service and Relationship Building, with the ability to support and grow long‑term accounts. Proficiency in Sales Presentations and New Business Development, with experience identifying prospects, generating leads, and closing opportunities. Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain product options and solutions. Ability to understand building materials, construction or remodeling products, or willingness to quickly learn technical product knowledge. Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a field‑based schedule across the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent customer visits and job site meetings. Experience in outside sales, construction supply, building materials, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
