Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of elderly residents, identifying specific emotional and psychological needs associated with aging, loss, and transitions in life.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address emotional difficulties, including grief, adjustment issues, and mental health disorders prevalent among seniors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients within our outpatient care facility who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment difficulties related to aging. You will form meaningful relationships with clients as you guide them through difficult transitions and help them improve their overall quality of life. Our target population includes seniors dealing with loss, shifts in social connections, and changing health status, and you will play a crucial role in supporting their emotional and mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
