Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing your counseling expertise to reach clients in the comfort of their homes. Our team enjoys a flexible schedule, working regular hours Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. Our virtual platform facilitates secure and confidential consultations, offering you the tools needed to thrive in a digital counseling environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group counseling to address issues such as loss, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.

• Educate caregivers, staff, and family members on effective strategies to support elderly clients dealing with emotional challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Lead grief and loss counseling sessions for clients and their families navigating end-of-life issues, providing empathetic support during difficult times.
\n
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring effective communication within the team.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and advocate for client-specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

• Evidence of completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting.
\n
• A valid driver's license in good standing for potential in-person client engagements when necessary.

• Outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, families, and team members.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to accurately document client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
