Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs through structured interviews and diagnostic assessments to identify challenges and strengths.

• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling through telehealth sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to assist clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions focused on support and psychoeducation to foster community and shared healing among clients facing similar challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients, establishing specific, measurable goals and interventions rooted in therapeutic best practices.

• Respond to crisis situations by offering immediate support, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating emergency interventions to ensure client safety.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health care by engaging in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Collaborate with a diverse range of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-informed care, substance use issues, and family dynamics. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in guiding clients through their unique challenges while fostering resilience and empowering them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
