Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, developing and maintaining a positive, therapeutic relationship while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular client meetings to review progress, check on stability, and schedule follow-up appointments, including effective discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of clients.
\n
• Keep detailed and up-to-date documentation for each client, including progress notes in accordance with organizational standards and compliance regulations.
\n
• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, adapting techniques based on the evolving needs of clients.

• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions for professional guidance and support, while fostering continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals with substance abuse issues.

• Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and the provision of both individual and group therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and conducting remote therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
