Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients who are admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will include a wide range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. You will provide empathetic support and evidence-based counseling methods to empower clients in their journeys toward recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current, valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York is essential.

• Proven experience in clinical mental health counseling or a similar role.

• A robust understanding of the effects of pharmacological treatments and their role in therapy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and compassionately.
