Semiconductor Capital Equipment Manufacturing | Boise, Idaho OVERVIEW Castle Alliance is conducting a confidential, retained search for a Business HR Director on behalf of a recently acquired business unit within a Fortune 500, global multi-industrial manufacturer. The business is a 40-plus-year leader in advanced wet processing and precision cleaning equipment for the semiconductor and cleanroom industries, now scaling its capabilities inside a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. OPPORTUNITY This is a build-and-integrate mandate, not a maintenance seat. As a key member of the site leadership team, the HR Director owns HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent development, compensation, employee relations, compliance, and culture, while leading the people integration agenda that enables the business to operate as a fully integrated unit of the parent enterprise. Post-acquisition integration, spanning HRIS migration, compensation alignment, policy harmonization, and cultural integration, runs through this role, with full integration targeted for early 2028. The position reports to the General Manager, dotted line to the Platform HR Director, with direct management and development of an HR team. SUCCESS FACTORS Operates as a strategic partner to the GM and business leadership, not a transactional HR administrator Leads post-acquisition integration end to end while minimizing financial and cultural disruption Co-leads organizational design and workforce planning using a structured 80/20 prioritization approach Builds and develops the HR team while closing gaps in HR fundamentals, compliance, and data integrity Drives culture and engagement through a period of significant change RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the GM and leadership on strategy, operational planning, and long-range and annual plan development Develop and execute the roadmap to integrate compensation, performance, benefits, and HR processes into the parent enterprise Lead organizational design, work structure, job design, and workforce planning to build the talent pipeline Administer compensation and performance management programs using market data to maintain competitiveness Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, and work authorization Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to strengthen capability and strategic partnership REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field 5+ years of HR leadership experience in organizations with $50M+ in revenue Manufacturing environment experience with command of plant and production pace, culture, and complexity Strong HR fundamentals: FLSA classification, data integrity, compliance, and policy development Demonstrated M&A or post-acquisition integration experience, including HRIS implementation, policy alignment, and cultural integration; Workday a plus Organizational design and talent development experience Approximately 20% travel LOCATION On-site in the Boise, Idaho area.
