Part-time Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, professional part-time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and callers. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and safe environment while supporting daily administrative operations. Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday: 3:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Every other Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Pay: $15.60 per hour Key Responsibilities: Greet and direct visitors in a courteous and professional manner Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls Take and relay accurate messages Monitor building access and maintain front desk security procedures Respond to alarms or emergencies and report incidents as needed Assist residents, families, and guests with questions or needs Maintain updated contact lists and directories Keep reception area clean, organized, and professional Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks Follow all safety, confidentiality, and infection control policies Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented Ability to stay calm and respond effectively in busy or emergency situations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in healthcare or senior living preferred Genuine interest in working with older adults Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed Ability to communicate effectively in English Sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity for clerical duties Additional Information: Business casual attire or scrubs required Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Center #J-18808-Ljbffr
