About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join their team. The CMO will play a pivotal role in the development and launch of a groundbreaking medical organization, with a focus on a platform-defining story in late-stage biotech. This executive leadership position requires a physician-scientist or physician-executive with a background in hematology, oncology, or both, and significant experience in bone marrow transplant, cell therapy, or cellular transplant platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full medical function, including shaping the strategy for how the therapy will be delivered to patients at scale. Experience in leading or contributing to an oncology product launch and a strong background in medical affairs leadership are highly valued. The ideal CMO for the company will be a key partner to the founder-CEO, working closely to build a durable, launch-ready medical organization. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a near-term regulatory milestone and to have a direct impact on the future of the company's innovative therapies. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the medical and scientific aspects of the business, and the ability to translate that knowledge into a successful medical strategy.
