Job Description – Pharmacy Board Compliance Specialist (Southwest Region) (2600045Z) Key Details Primary Location: United States of America – Ohio – Butler County – Fairfield Other Locations: Ohio – Hamilton County (Cincinnati); Warren County (Lebanon) Compensation: $52.86 to $73.46 per hour Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week Region and Relocation Specialists assigned to the Southwest Region of Ohio, covering the counties of Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, and Warren. Headquarters may be located in Butler, Clinton, Hamilton, or Warren Counties. The selected candidate must live or relocate to Butler or Hamilton County within 180 days of the effective date. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of establishments where drugs are dispensed, manufactured, or sold to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Investigate complaints of violations of drug laws and regulations. Assist in the prosecution of violators. Provide counseling to pharmacists and drug distributors to facilitate compliance with state and federal laws. Assist other specialists, agents, and inspectors to expedite case resolution. Disseminate drug information to pharmacists, distributors, and the general public to promote awareness of drug abuse and relevant laws. Training: Selected specialists must complete a 16‑week training program in Columbus, Ohio, with additional field training. Travel to and from training locations is required. Probationary Period: All newly hired employees will be on probation for 365 days. Unless required by legislation or union contract, the starting salary will be set at Step 1 of the pay range. Qualifications License to practice pharmacy as a pharmacist issued by the State Board of Pharmacy in accordance with O.C. Sections 4729.01–4729.29. At least 5 years of experience as a registered pharmacist, including a minimum of 3 years in tertiary‑level hospital or comparable institutional settings involving sterile drug compounding, complex automated drug delivery systems, electronic record‑keeping systems, and use of positive identification; or equivalent experience in diversified specialty pharmacy. Valid driver’s license. Equivalent minimum qualifications as outlined by the agency may also be considered. Job skills: Board and Commission Compliance.
