Human Resources Payroll / Operations Specialist In this role at Ditsch USA, you will be a key contributor to the success of our HR function by driving operational excellence across systems management, compliance, payroll, benefits, and data analytics. The position requires a detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about streamlining HR processes to improve employee experience and organizational performance. Responsibilities Administer and maintain employee lifecycle processes and associate data across HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Identify opportunities within the HR systems for optimization and efficiency to streamline processes. Ensure timely and accurate bi‑weekly payroll administration, execution, and response to teammate inquiries. Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, changes, separations, and open‑enrollment vendor coordination. Coordinate leave‑of‑absence processes and manage documentation in coordination with the HR Business Partner team. Process 401(k) withdrawals (termination, in‑service, & hardship) in partnership with the CEO. Manage EDI file exchange during open enrollment and throughout the year as discrepancies arise. Support HR analytics initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions. Create and maintain training documentation, SOPs, and user guides for HR systems and processes. Conduct internal audits of HR processes and records to ensure compliance and readiness for external audits. Assist in the development and delivery of HR‑related training programs for employees and managers. Support year‑end processes including W‑2, 1095 and tax filing. Conduct annual compliance reporting for benefit discrimination testing and out‑of‑state worker’s compensation audit. Participate in cross‑functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Process wage garnishments, child support orders, and other mandated withholdings. Maintain and update records ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee information and compliance with document retention policies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour laws. Train leaders to effectively navigate the HR system to approve timecards, time‑off options, and track overtime hours. Process audit bonuses, PPE reimbursements, and rate adjustments as needed. Update COBRA QB in portal as needed when discrepancies are found in EDI files. Ensure validation tables are current by implementing updates for new job titles, tax jurisdictions, departments, and related data. Follow any other instructions and perform any other related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or benefits administration. Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. No adverse environmental conditions expected. Compensation Range : $65,000 – $80,000 Eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development are available.
