Our state of the art dental practice is looking for the ONE. We want someone who is highly motivated and self driven who Who can maintain PRODUCTIVE and EFFICIENT schedules for doctors and hygienists. Someone who is eager to learn and grow with our dental family. Dental insurance knowledge is required.
The duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Answering Phone Calls and responding to patient inquiries. Take the time to listen to the needs of the patient and schedule their appointments accordingly.
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. First impressions are important, making sure to greet each patient with a warm SMILE is an essential part of the job.
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Helps to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner and that the dentist’s office runs smoothly.
- Confirms upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol.
- Verifying methods of payments as needed.
- Computer skills including but not limited to operating any essential spreadsheets, emails, messaging services and text.
- Maintain patient records including but not limited scanning consent, financials, photo ID, specialist reports, and insurance information.
- Treatment planning presentation. Being able to effectively present a treatment plan in order to gain patient’s trust and consent.
- Insurance documentation is required. Must be able to input ACCURATELY, details of specific insurance plans to allow for proper office flow.
- Interpersonal: Team player being ready for morning Huddles, ability to be flexible when needed, experience with resolving conflict, and effective verbal communication.
- Review the day, Emergency appointments, Google reviews, communicate any special needs, next available hygiene appointment. Be friendly and helpful in order to provide patients with the best possible experience.
