The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in managing patient care and treatment logistics within a small dental team of 1-5 members. This position focuses on coordinating general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics and cosmetic dentistry treatments, ensuring smooth patient communication both in person and via phone or email. The coordinator supports efficient office operations by handling scheduling, insurance, billing, and treatment education.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage treatment planning
• Coordinate insurance claims and billing support
• Communicate with patients through phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
• Follow up on appointments and treatment adherence
• Educate patients about treatment procedures and financial options
• Manage referrals to specialists or different dental services
• Process payments and handle financial transactions

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years in dental practice management (A MUST!)
• Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance billing processes for HMO and PPO plans
• Strong patient communication skills
• Experience with EAGLESOFT Practice management software
• Knowledge of medical records management
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Proficiency in handling financial transactions accurately
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
