Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thu: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, restricted areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Support security‑related operations by maintaining accurate logs, preparing routine reports, and following established procedures for inspections, screening, and/or restricted access areas. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
