As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Front Royal, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in support of security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and assisting with traffic flow and/or dock access as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving zones to help to deter unauthorized access and support site rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
