Principal Software Engineer - Kinexys

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
• We need deep experience building distributed systems and/or blockchain infrastructure, including public chain integrations, node and provider architecture, indexing, RPC reliability, and L2 or bridging patterns.
• We are seeking strong system design, performance, and resilience engineering skills, with the ability to operate in regulated environments.
• We value a proven record of technical leadership and delivery of complex platforms at scale.
• We are looking for demonstrated experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices using enterprise-authorized tools, including human-in-the-loop validation, auditability and traceability of changes, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• We need a strong understanding of responsible AI use and governance in engineering workflows, including security and resiliency implications, data sensitivity, and risk-based control expectations.
• We are looking for the ability to present effectively and communicate with senior leaders and executives.

• We own end-to-end architecture for public-chain connectivity, interoperability, and on-chain/off-chain workflows.
• We lead design reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers across multiple squads.
• We drive security-by-design practices, including key management, smart contract assurance, threat modeling, monitoring, and incident response.
• We evaluate protocols and partners, contribute to open standards where appropriate, and help shape the public-chain roadmap.
• We architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows using enterprise-authorized tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes at scale.
• We apply knowledge of software development life cycle tooling, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We influence leaders and senior stakeholders across the business and advise cross-functional teams on technology matters within our area of expertise.
