Facility Specialist Lead

Location: USA - Braselton, Broadway Boulevard Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Facility Specialist Lead - 117406 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary Under general supervision, the Facility Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, performing a variety of skilled and semi‑skilled building and facilities tasks involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC skills, operation of power tools, and light‑to‑medium equipment. Work is performed with some independence within established policies and procedures, and is subject to general or direct supervision as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the condition of the building and equipment, performing routine maintenance and simple repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, or custodial areas. Execute and maintain preventative maintenance systems for building and equipment, collaborating with site management on inspections of material handling equipment, heating and cooling systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components. Inspect, maintain, and repair building and equipment, ensuring daily operation of all building and material handling equipment, and report any problems. Identify, report, and correct safety hazards, ensuring a safe work site during repairs or maintenance. Coordinate and schedule daily/weekend work tasks for Maintenance Associates/Technicians, providing guidance, technical support, and training. Diagnose problems and recommend solutions, inspecting and making emergency repairs to all facility equipment and furnishings. Operate equipment such as sit‑down, stand‑up, reach trucks, sweeper scrubbers, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks; adhere to Forklift Guidelines and maintain an active forklift certification. Assist in grounds maintenance as assigned, complete required reports, memos, and correspondence, and maintain communication with Associates, Technicians, supervisors, and other departments. Follow safety, housekeeping, and compliance procedures, promoting safety, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, complying with SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, OSHA/MSDS standards. Perform any other duties as assigned and work overtime as required by business needs. Skills & Abilities High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair experience. Ability to work in unregulated temperatures in the warehouse during warm and cold months. Basic computer skills; basic math; reading and writing skills. Ability to troubleshoot general maintenance problems, read and follow manufacturer manuals, spot problems early, and take initiative to correct them. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team; adaptability to change and fast‑paced environments. Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, squat, and kneel as required. Knowledge of facilities and systems maintenance tools such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, mechanical systems; experience with material handling equipment preferred. Completion of a forklift training program and active forklift certification.
