HR Assistant

Job Description

Job Title : HR Assistant Location : Darien, CT Work Model : Onsite Hours : M-F 8am-5pm Compensation : $30.00 - $35.00/hr Type : 3-month contract Responsibilities

Sorting and reviewing files by type (Personnel/Medical)
Logging files by Active/Terminated Trackers, including retention review details and transmitting files to HR Ops
Boxing files and grouping files with similar years together whenever possible (for example, 2018-2019 or 2020-2021)
Coordinating pickup dates with HROps
Handoff of files to Iron Mountain

Qualifications Required
Entry level HR position with 0-2 years’ experience. Internship experience desired.
Must have excellent customer service skill and be able interact well with others.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask with excellent organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver new associate and benefit presentations as required.
Requires some knowledge of human resources principles and practices (either through study and/or application).
Ability to detect and improve processes and procedures.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize advanced features in Word, Excel, and on-line eligibility system required.
