Benefits 401(k) retirement benefit Continuing education benefits And much more! Responsibilities Maintain carts, assist customers with purchasing and loading items into cars or carts. Check retail prices on shelf for check‑stand personnel. Retrieve and return merchandise from the check‑stand (“go backs”) and place it on the appropriate shelf. Walk aisles and return misplaced items. Monitor store entrance cleanliness: sweep front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash regularly, mop outside walkways, clean entrance/exit doors daily. Maintain overall store cleanliness: sweep, mop, clean and restock restrooms as needed. Assist customers with loading merchandise into carts and vehicles. Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas. Support parking lot and store maintenance as required. Qualifications Candidates should possess the ability to: Read and write English, interact with general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
