No shop floor chaos, no back-to-back scheduling — just you, a fully-equipped van, and pets who get your full attention, one at a time. What you'll do: Drive our state-of-the-art mobile grooming van directly to clients' homes across Barrington and the Northwest suburbs Provide full-service grooming — baths, haircuts, brush outs, nail trims, ear cleaning, and all the fun glow up's Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and skill Build genuine relationships with pets and their people — many of whom will request you by name Keep the van clean, organized, and stocked, because a tidy groomer is a happy groomer Maintain accurate service notes and communicate professionally with clients and our office team Ensure pets are handled safely and compassionately at all times What you bring: Previous professional grooming experience A calm, confident hand with nervous or wiggly clients A valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical stamina — this job involves lifting, bending, and the occasional wet-dog wrestling match A genuine love of animals that shows in your work, not just your Instagram bio Reliability and a strong sense of ownership over your schedule and the van What we Offer: Part-time flexibility — we'll talk through what works for both sides Fully equipped Wag N Tails mobile grooming van Commission-based pay that rewards your skill and speed — and with no booth rental or shop fees eating into it, more of what you earn stays in your pocket Keep 100% of your tips — no pooling, no splitting Get in on the ground floor as we build our local client base — with the Woofie's brand and marketing support behind you Room to grow your skills, not just clock hours A genuinely drama-free team — you show up, do great work, and support each other Accrued PTO after 30 days About Us: Woofie's of Barrington-Northwest is a trusted name in in-home pet care, proudly serving the Barrington and Northwest suburbs.
