Implementation Consultant

A PE-backed B2B SaaS company operating in the partner ecosystem and channel technology market is strengthening its US Professional Services team and hiring an experienced Implementation Consultant.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys owning implementations from the point of sales handover through to successful delivery and transition into Customer Success.

The position sits between traditional project management and deeper technical consulting. You will own the overall customer journey, lead workshops, manage scope and timelines, translate business requirements into practical solutions, configure the platform and coordinate with Solution Consultants when more complex technical work is required.

About the role

You will act as one of the main customer contacts throughout implementation, taking responsibility for delivery, communication and overall project progress.

Projects can range from relatively structured SaaS deployments through to larger enterprise implementations involving multiple stakeholders, integrations and more complex configuration.

You will work in a lean, collaborative environment where consultants are trusted to take ownership rather than operate within a heavily layered delivery structure.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer implementations from post-sale handover through to completion and transition into Customer Success
\n
• Lead customer discovery sessions and implementation workshops
\n
• Gather and document business and technical requirements
\n
• Build and manage project plans, milestones, scope, dependencies and risks
\n
• Translate customer requirements into practical implementation actions
\n
• Configure the platform and support standard implementation activity directly
\n
• Coordinate with Solution Consultants and technical teams on more complex integrations or configuration requirements
\n
• Manage customer communication, expectations and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery
\n
• Deliver customer training and enablement
\n
• Identify blockers early and drive issues through to resolution
\n
• Support a smooth handover into ongoing Customer Success and support
\n

Ideal candidate profile

You will ideally have experience working as an Implementation Consultant, Senior Implementation Consultant, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Consultant or in a closely related customer-facing SaaS implementation role.

Strong candidates will have:

• Recent experience delivering external customer software implementations
\n
• Experience personally owning implementation projects end to end
\n
• Strong customer-facing workshop and requirements-gathering skills
\n
• Experience managing project scope, milestones, dependencies and risks
\n
• Hands-on experience configuring SaaS or business software
\n
• Good understanding of integrations and connected business systems
\n
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical platform solutions
\n
• Confidence working independently with customer stakeholders
\n
• Experience delivering customer training or enablement
\n

Experience within PRM, partner relationship management, partner marketing, channel technology or partner ecosystem software would be particularly relevant.

Backgrounds across configurable B2B SaaS environments such as CRM, Salesforce, marketing automation, workflow, enablement or similar platforms may also be considered.

Location and working style

This is a remote US position.

Candidates based on the East Coast are strongly preferred, with Central US also highly relevant due to collaboration across US and European teams.

The role is highly customer-facing and suited to someone comfortable taking ownership of several implementations while working closely with colleagues across Professional Services, Customer Success, Product and Engineering.
