***Manager will consider qualified candidates over the bill rate.***Northrop Grumman is looking for an Engineer Embedded Software 3 to support our RF Software department. This position will serve on-site at Rolling Meadows. ResponsibilitiesDesigns develops operates and maintains software components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards processes procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems aircraft protection and display systems and electrical systems. Interfaces with other engineering functions and program staff. Basic Qualifications for Engineer Embedded Software 3STEM degreeExperience with Object Oriented Programming in C11Experience testing debugging and integrating Embedded Software on target hardware using real time operating systemsActive Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Embedded Software 3BS Software Engineering Computer Science Electrical EngineeringExperience with Object Oriented Programming in C11Knowledge with scripting languages Python Batch etc.Experience with Software development methodologies and frameworks such as Agile in a team environment.Experience testing debugging and integrating Embedded Software on target hardware using VxWorksActive Secret ClearanceDifferentiating characteristics include demonstrated leadership and teamwork capability interpersonal communication skills and activities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $77.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
