Field Sales Consultant, Interiors

Sell the Company's exterior and interior products and services to customers Conduct outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows Assess customer needs and make individually tailored product recommendations Develop and negotiate customized price quotes Present warranty information and financing options Maintain and drive profitability Complete sales contracts and paperwork Take measurements using industry-standard methods to meet installation specifications Solicit and acquire new customers inside assigned THD stores and at industry events Travel to assigned stores and maintain relationships with store management and associates Educate store associates on HDIS offerings and increase awareness of HDIS programs Conduct sales presentations and advocate HDIS solutions Prepare for appointments, commute to and from appointments, and process sales-related paperwork Seek referrals and develop customer and store relationships Attend sales and store team meetings to improve sales techniques and learn about HDIS products Report to the Sales Manager; no direct reports Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States High school diploma and/or GED 1+ years of previous related work experience Prior in-home or virtual sales experience Prior home improvement industry experience Prior experience with successful lead generation Computer and application skills, including email, iPad, apps, and varied technology No previous leadership experience required Certifications: None Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in outside sales, customer relationship management, and tailored product recommendations within the home improvement industry. Proficient in lead generation and sales presentations to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
