Senior Manager, Intercon Region & LR Markets, Corporate Affairs

Senior Manager responsible for shaping Bristol Myers Squibb's reputation across the Intercon region and LR Markets through media relations, communications strategy, and issues management. Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent narratives, manage stakeholder communications, and mitigate corporate risks.

Responsibilities

• Shape proactive and reactive media engagement strategy across Intercon region and LR Markets
• Develop and execute integrated media relations strategy aligned with business priorities and enterprise narratives
• Monitor emerging issues and public sentiment; recommend mitigation actions and messaging to protect reputation
• Prepare spokespeople through key messages, Q&As, briefing documents, and mock interview preparation
• Manage internal and external communications programs supporting corporate brand and distributor business across 30+ markets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Sciences, or related field
• 7-10+ years of Corporate Affairs, brand, or corporate communications experience
• Demonstrated business acumen in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries
• Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong matrix management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Self-directed with proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines

Compensation: $125,040 - $151,510
