Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support multiple business groups and geographic locations within a fast-paced financial services organization. This role will partner closely with business leaders to deliver strategic HR guidance while executing key talent and employee initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong executive presence, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will have experience supporting businesses within financial services, including investment banking, capital markets, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, broker-dealers, or related sectors, and will understand the unique talent, regulatory, and business challenges within these environments. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and management teams, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Develop strong partnerships with business leaders across multiple functions and locations. Align HR initiatives with business objectives and help drive organizational performance. Support organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives. Coach managers and leaders on performance management, employee development, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness. Identify and develop high-potential talent while supporting career development initiatives. Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, recruiting strategies, and retention efforts for highly competitive talent markets. Employee Relations & Compliance Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution. Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry regulations. Partner with legal and compliance teams as needed on sensitive employment matters. HR Program Execution Support annual compensation, promotion, performance review, and talent assessment processes. Partner with Compensation and Benefits teams to support employee reward and recognition initiatives. Analyze people metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions. Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives across supported business areas. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist supporting client groups directly. Prior experience supporting financial services organizations, including investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, broker-dealers, capital markets, or banking environments. Proven ability to support multiple business groups and locations simultaneously. Strong employee relations, performance management, and organizational development experience. Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively. Strong business acumen and understanding of the financial services industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment. PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP certification preferred. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short‑ and long‑term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
