About the Role

LoneStar Tracking provides GPS tracking and remote monitoring solutions for vehicles, equipment, and other valuable assets. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Operations & Customer Service Coordinator to help keep our daily operations running smoothly.

This position combines hands-on shipping and inventory management with customer service and administrative support. You’ll help get orders out the door, keep our warehouse organized, assist customers, and coordinate with our advertising and marketing teams.

This is not a fully remote position. Morning shipping and other warehouse responsibilities require in-person work at our Kyle, Texas, warehouse. Customer service and administrative responsibilities may be performed remotely as part of the hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Process and ship customer orders. Pick, verify, and properly package products for morning shipments. Prepare shipping labels and coordinate domestic and international shipments, including commercial invoices and customs documentation. Monitor shipments and help resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and an organized warehouse. Receive products from manufacturers, verify quantities and condition, and record incoming inventory. Label, sort, stack, and store products so orders can be picked and shipped efficiently. Perform regular inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and keep inventory records aligned with what is physically in the warehouse.
• Provide responsive customer service. Assist with overflow phone calls, answer website chats, and respond to customer service emails and support tickets. Help customers with order status, shipping questions, and basic product inquiries. Coordinate with the appropriate team members when an issue requires additional assistance, and follow through until it is resolved.
• Support accounts receivable and administrative tasks. Handle check deposits, help record and reconcile customer payments, and assist with accounts receivable follow-up. Maintain accurate records and handle customer and financial information responsibly.
• Coordinate with our advertising and marketing teams. Share customer feedback, communicate product availability and inventory updates, and assist with projects and promotions as needed.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in shipping, inventory management, customer service, or a similar operations role, with a working knowledge of international shipping and proper packaging practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling orders, inventory counts, payments, and customer records.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a helpful, patient approach to customer service across phone, chat, and email.
• Comfort using shipping software, spreadsheets, email, and customer support systems, along with a willingness to learn our products and processes.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on tasks, both remotely and at the warehouse.
• Strong everyday computer skills and confidence using technology. You should be comfortable with email, spreadsheets, shipping software, and web-based customer support systems. This includes securely managing login credentials, resetting passwords, using multifactor authentication, and troubleshooting basic issues independently. You don’t need to be an IT expert, but you should be resourceful, comfortable learning new software, and able to handle routine computer tasks without step-by-step assistance.
  

You must be able to reliably commute to our Kyle warehouse and be comfortable with hands-on tasks such as packing orders, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing products.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

You enjoy a mix of hands-on work and computer-based tasks. You notice when an inventory count is off, double-check an order before it ships, and make sure customers receive a response. You take ownership of your work and communicate when something needs attention.
