taking ownership of the everyday needs that keep a healthcare facility running.Facility Maintenance & RepairsPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout assigned locationsComplete regular interior and exterior walkthroughsIdentify maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns before they become larger problemsHandle routine issues independently when they fall within the scope of the positionBuilding Systems & Preventive MaintenanceComplete assigned preventive maintenance and routine inspectionsHelp monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, access systems, and other building equipmentRecognize when an issue requires additional support or an outside contractorKeep the Facilities Manager informed of needed repairs and ongoing concernsBuilding Appearance & GroundsHelp maintain clean, safe, and professional interior and exterior spacesComplete minor repairs, painting, touch-ups, and general upkeepAssist with trash removal and other facility needsSupport snow and ice removal in non-contracted areas when neededSafetyIdentify and address facility safety concerns within your scopePromptly report issues requiring additional actionComplete assigned safety inspectionsSupport fire/life-safety, emergency preparedness, infection-control, and other facility requirementsVendors & ContractorsCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and service technicians as assignedProvide access to work areas and assist during service visitsProvide measurements, photos, equipment information, or other details when neededFollow up on work and keep the Facilities Manager informed of progress or concernsCommunication & DocumentationMaintain regular communication with the Facilities ManagerProvide updates on completed work, outstanding needs, and vendor activityComplete check sheets, inspection forms, logs, and other required documentation accurately and on timeDocument issues and make sure appropriate follow-up occursProjects & Department SupportAssist with renovations and installationsSupport equipment replacementsHelp prepare rooms and workspacesAssist with moves, organizational events, new locations, and other facility projectsWork with departments to travel between Greater Seacoast Health locationsBasic computer skills and ability to learn building systems and electronic documentationPreferredPrevious experience in facilities, maintenance, building operations, construction, property maintenance, or a similar hands-on environmentGeneral knowledge of basic building maintenance and repairAdditional trade training, certifications, technical Pay: $25.08–$28.83 per hour, based on experiencePhysical & Work EnvironmentThis is an active, hands-on position that includes regular walking, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and general maintenance activities.The position may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds independently, with assistance used for heavier items.Work may take place indoors or outdoors
